Choosing the Appropriate Venue and Room for your Event
Choosing a venue for your event is an important decision that must be taken very seriously and given careful consideration. The venue that you choose determines the lighting trusses we use, the projection style, the set’s size and style, how many people can attend, the menu, and number of break-out locations. Below, we have compiled a basic list of questions to ask when considering an event venue.
Are most of your attendees local or will they be flying in?
Can the venue accommodate the size event you are planning?
Can they meet your needs in all areas such as food/ beverage, attendee hotel rooms, break-out rooms, etc...?
Does the venue have ease-of-access for production i.e. loading dock, freight elevators etc...?
Is the venue easy to work with? Is the staff friendly and helpful? Do they have a can-do attitude?
Do they have the space you need available at the time you need it as well as proper production load-in/out?
Choosing a venue and room(s) can seem like a daunting task. We would be glad to assist you in this process. We have worked all over the country and usually know the quirks of most venues.
